They live the life of charity in community as a true family gathered together in the name of Jesus, our Redeemer. As a contemplative monastic order, prayer is the heart of our life Prayer is our apostolic work on behalf of the Church and the world. . They are praying and preparing themselves for the beatification of their foundress Maria Celeste Crostarosa It was from Australia the Redemptoristine came to the Philippines. The first community was established in the year. 1980 in Legazpi, Philippines (which then went on to found a monastery in Cebu) The second community in Cebu, in Nivel Hills, Lahug, Cebu City was begun in the year 1996. There are 10 sisters in the Community. They joined with us every day for the Eucharistic celebration. All the participants were welcomed by the Redemptoristine Nuns. We were invited for dinner in accordance with the sub-conference. The sub-conference of South Asia was invited for the Dinner on Valentine Day. They had prepared a wonderful dinner. It was my first visit with them. They shared about the ministry and about the routine of their life there.. They pray for all Redemptorists. Their motto is that by their prayer they support the Redemptorist apostolic mission in service to the poor and the most abandoned.
