This is a very special day for you and for the congregation. The day we are celebrating the inauguration of the region of Alwaye 25 years ago, 25 short years ago during which time that region which began with a few confreres, committed to spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ especially among the Syro-Malabar Church in Kerela and has moved into a Vice- Province and a Province of Liguori named after our founder. And now the members of the province of Liguori are preaching the Good News not only in Kerala, not only in India but around the world, in North America, in Europe, in Oceania and across Asia. You have recognized  that God has called  you to bring this message to his people who with everything may be especially those who are abandoned those who are poor. This is a really wonderful missionary vocation. And you have embraced it especially in accepting the responsibility for the mission in Lebanon in that part of the world which has been so afflicted by war, violence and suffering to come with the message of the peace, the love and the joy of Jesus Christ our Redeemer.

You are celebrating 25 years; at the same time we are beginning a new sexennium as a congregation. The theme chosen by the capitulars in Pattaya, Thailand  which will resonate with us throughout these full six years reminds us that we are called to be witness of the Redeemer, witness of Jesus Christ , whom God sent into the world to bring the fullness of life and the fullness of redemption to all. We do this in solidarity for the mission to a wounded world. That is really important to remember.  We do not do this alone, the Liguori Province does not do it by itself, but we do it with solidarity with fellow Redemptorists across the globe, with men and women who work with us, who support us by their prayers, by their care, by their financial contribution and with so many religious sisters, Redemptoristines who pray for us, the other members of our family. We do this in solidarity with the poor and with the whole Church. And we do this in a world that is wounded by sins, violence, prejudice, hatred, poverty and injustice. Some time we might feel that we can give-up on this world that the world is just too corrupt  then we need to remember the gospel which Jesus said to Nicodemus God loved the world so much so he send his only Son to be t our redeemer. God loves the world so much.  can we do like that?

As you celebrate 25 years, you are giving thanks to God for all the blessing that God has poured up on the congregation, up on the Syro-Malabar Church and  up on the universal Church, through this Redemptorist missionary vocation. We thank God for you and every one of you. We thank God  that you have entered and made this missionary profession to be one with us to be truly our brothers. We ask God to bless you, in every where to give you every grace you need to continue the mission with Joy and with hope. Pope Francis reminds us that the Joy and Hope are essential to live the religious life and their the witness we as religious can bring to the world which needs to hear both joy and hope so every very much.  Congratulation! It is wonderful time to celebrate the blessing especially I should look forward the future.  Jubilee aasamsakal. Daivam ningale anughrahikkatte.
