DIACONATE IS A CALL TO SERVE
“Therefore brethren, pick out from among you seven men of good repute, full of the Spirit and of wisdom, whom we may appoint to this duty”.( Acts 6:3 ).
1st November 2017 was indeed a joyful occasion for the Liguori Province, for it was on that day two of her sons, Bros. Jaise Kulathinkal and Alex Vazhappilly were ordained as deacons. The diaconate ceremony took place at 6.15 am in Mattoor. His Excellency, Mar Mathew Vaniyakizhakkel, V.C., Bishop Emeritus of Santa Diocese was the main celebrant of the ceremony. The ceremony was held at the provincial house and many of our confreres, the parents and the family members of the Deacons were present for the ceremony.
