On the occasion of the new initiative by our Confreres in the Middle East, let us assure them of our prayer and support. November 22 was a great day for the migrants from Kerala, India in the Land of Lebanon.
It was the first time we celebrated a Syro-Malabar rite Mass for the migrants from India in our Church Boucherieh. Around 50 people who attended the liturgy. The liturgical celebration
began with an introduction of the Redemptorist apostolate in Lebanon and the mission of the Liguori Provincefollowed by Holy Qurbāna.
Fr. Binoy Mandapathil celebrated the first Holy Qurbāna. There was a great participation and response from the people of God. It was a home coming experience to have a Holy Qurbāna in their own rite. They all agreed to celebrate Holy Qurbāna once a month. They acknowledged the availability and good will of the Redemptorists in Lebanon for the Holy Sacrifice.
