This year, 2016, was a very special celebration for Parathetta parishioners, who were commemorating the feast of St. Sebastian. The feast day was the highpoint of the celebration for the parishioners. All the people, even non-Christians, celebrated this special time with God and with one another, in the company of the parish priest. The programme of activities during the feast included the hoisting of the flag on 8th of April, Friday and regular celebrations of the Eucharist. Thirunnal Paatukurbana (High Solemn Mass) was on 10th April Sunday at 9:30, Kazhunnu offering and other devotions were observed during the feast days. These were the graceful days for the parishioners and for me.
