From Hernals, Vienna

Vienna: Fr. Jacob Parampanattu doesn’t wait for it to happen but make’s it happen. He accepted the challenges to learn new language and after the initial struggles of learning German language he feels the exhilaration of victory. He is busy with his pastoral ministry at St Mary’s Church in Hernals, Vienna. He enjoys the full support and cooperation from the Redemtorist community especially. This church was one of the first in Vienna. It is a Neo-Gothic masterpiece and an oasis of tranquility and breathtaking beauty in the city. St. Clemet Maria Hofbauer′s body was transferred to this Church in 1862 and he was canonized in 1905 and was declared as the patron saint of Vienna in 1912. Jacob, you have proven yourself to be a very skilled confrere who has the capacity to do great things. Continue to make us proud as you face new challenges and adventures!
