This wonderful prophecy of the Blessed Mother of God has been fulfilled in the Christian ages of the past, and will continue to be realized till time shall be no more. The pilgrimage of the icon of Mother of Perpetual Help, the icon of love began in the province from Yahweh nissi, the prayer home of the province. Fr. Tony Kattakayam accompanied the icon from Bangalore. It was welcomed by a prayerful crowd consisting of two parishes. The neighboring parish priests were very much helpful in arranging such an auspicious welcome to our mother. The venerable Icon was taken in a procession of by Fr. Jaison Thundathil to the Hilltop of Yahweh nissi. Many faithful joined for the procession. It was kept for the public veneration for three days in the hilltop chapel. There was a fantastic feel and emotion to everything – you looked around and saw people with tears of emotion. A devotee commented “It was an opportunity to bring our petitions, praise, and thanksgiving to a place blessed in some way by the presence of God or His Mother. It was also a symbol of how our lives should always be as Christians to share Christ on our earthly journey towards heaven.” After three days of public veneration. The Icon was taken to Neumann Sadhan, the novitiate community of the Liguori Province.
