Nithya Sahaya Matha Parish, Karavaloor, under the care of the Redemptorist Fathers and the Directorship of the Parish priest, Fr. Roy Veliyath C.Ss.R., witnessed a great miracle this year.
The Annual Bible Convention this year was based on the theme: ‘Eucharistic Spiritual Anointing’. The animator of the convention was none other than Rev. Fr. Jaison Kuttikadan OSB from the Makkiad Retreat Centre in Wayyanad. The convention started on Friday, 28 February and concluded on Sunday, 1 March. With the help of the parishioners and the support of the community, flyers were prepared well in advance and distributed throughout the neighboring parishes and social media. The turn out for each of the three days were astonishingly enormous. The homilies of the Retreat preacher were well appreciated.
The convention comprised of daily Holy Qurbana, Praise and Worship, Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and the Healing Service. The turn out and the number of hearts stirred in the Lord, showed the great work of God among His humble children. The St. Gerard’s Community, Karavaloor, thanks all those who supported this endeavor with their valuable prayers and encouragement.
